My Story

Raised in Eastern North Carolina, Paul started his professional career by enlisting in the United States Army. This afforded him the opportunity to attend and graduate from North Carolina Wesleyan College on the GI Bill, while continuing to serve his country in the United States Army Reserves. At the conclusion of his Army career, Paul worked for one of the largest insurance companies involving liability, property, and litigation risk management as well as underwriting real estate risk portfolios.

After completing the mandatory requirement's and testing for the North Carolina Appraisal Board, Paul began working in the appraisal field. He started his appraisal career working alongside both residential and commercial firms. In 2003, Coastal Carolina Group Inc. was formed. Specializing in all types of diverse real estate, Paul has thousands of hours in both pre and post licensing education as well as over twenty years of personal experience in the appraisal field. Paul has been recognized in Lawyer's Weekly as 'Most Helpful Expert' in 2016, 2018, 2021, and 2023 for creditors rights and eminent domain cases.

Paul resides in Winterville, North Carolina with his wife Celine and his daughter McKenna. In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.
